I am sorry if this is too specific, but I am looking for books, preferably as new as possible, that follow a supernatural phenomena and how it is treated and examined. I can't think of any books that I can give as examples, but in terms of movies I am thinking about something similar to The Man from Earth or Arrival (even though this is sci-fi).
