title. I really enjoy emily carroll's artwork and the atmosphere of her graphic novels. I'm looking got something slightly eerie but not too scary (her stuff is probably the scariest I'll read).
I'm fine with some gore or monsters, mostly psychological stuff freaks me out. open to juvenile graphic novels as well.

Maybe the series Beasts of Burden? Caveat that it does depict animals being hurt, as it’s a xenofiction comic about animals investigating spooky things, and aimed at adults. It’s not overly gory though!
