I’m looking for some lesbian YA books, and while I’ve gotten quite a few recommendations from friends and online, almost all of them feature a bunch of homophobia. These books are, for the most part, really good, but I’d like to read some lesbian YA books that are more wholesome. That don’t have a bunch of homophobia, but that are instead focused on the relationship itself.

The Lady’s Guide to Petticoats and Piracy
by Mackenzi Lee
The One Who Eats Monsters definitely has darker elements, but homophobia has very little presence. The relationship is pretty cute, particularly at the end once they actually get together.
It’s also a cool urban fantasy with badass fight scenes if that’s up your alley
{{The Cybernetic Tea Shop by Meredith Katz}}. Asexual lesbian, but still.
