Hey guy as the title says, recently i've been thinking about tackling Joyces works that is seeing what's behind the covers of those works that makes them so famous.
Now beside being famous, his works by what i've encountered have also always been presented as daunting and notoriously complicated, complex and hard to read.
As someone who never before encountered his work, and i mean literaly just always knew the name, never read anything of him and now wants to give it a shot, what is it that makes his work so challenging? Also is there things one should read beforehand in order to unlock the understanding of his works or a particular philosophy he followed?
