Hi all! Im looking for books that are light and fun. Dont particularly care about the genre, i just want to feel llthe same way i feel after warching a hallmark movie or other such things. I dont know many examples to give but What Light by Jay Asher is kinda the feel im going for, reading wise. It can be a whole novel or a collection of short fiction by one or multiple authors, as long as ill be (hopefully) smiling at the end.

If you’re open to very long books, I recommend [The Hands of the Emperor](https://app.thestorygraph.com/books/af2bba9c-8f41-4a3e-b87a-8532a44ccb67) by Victoria Goddard! It’s a beautifully written slice of life book about the personal secretary to the emperor of the world, with a heavy focus on platonic relationships.
Light-hearted feel-good stuff isn’t really in my line but nonetheless I enjoyed *The Wisdom of Uncle Kasimir*, and not only because most of the internet reviews show how well the book succeeded in its presentation. You might like it.
Wind in the willows
The Chicks in Chainmail series is funny as hell. Multiple authors short and medium length stories.
Myth Adventures is the Punniest series I have ever seen,
The Retief series is also chock full of puns and fairly lighthearted.
The Phule’s Company series is silliness and worth reading.
Anything by PG Wodehouse. Low stakes, very silly humour, things always work out in the end.
