I’m looking for a hard science fiction book, particularly one that’s heavy on biological and chemical sciences

I know this is a niche most don't know of, but I really love HSF books, such as the Martian and Neuromancer. I recently read a book called Parasite Eve, and although it's pretty strange, the science is very detailed and accurate (the author was a pharmaceutical researcher). If anyone could recommend a book like Parasite Eve or a HSF book that takes place in the medical realm in general I would be so grateful!
