Should I finish two twisted crowns?

I’m honestly kinda done with this book. Like I feel like I’ve been reading it forever and nothing has happened. I’m just now to the part where ravyn gets the go ahead from the king to look for the twin alders card. I know that’s probably when it’s gonna start picking up but I’ve been so disappointed by everything up to this point I kinda just wanna give up. I know everyone says the second book is better than the first but the first book was kinda straight into the action whereas this is sooooo slow
