I have just finished Anathem. I’m a fan of Foundation, The Gods Themselves, Why do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep, The Culture, Hyperion, Three Body Problem — Sci-Fi that really makes you think, crack it like a puzzle, investigate and research. Any recommendations?

I'm a nerdy math guy who does machine learning. I love science-fiction, and am looking for novel ideas and deep books. I love linguistic puzzles, love when books have smart multi-layered foreshadowing, sometimes only discoverable when re-reading. I also like philosophy, discussion on categorical morale, etc.

I also love a good laugh, hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy is certainly among my favourite books ever.
