Like the title says, I recently started using the CAWPILE review method ( Shoutout to G at Book Roasts) and books that I thought were amazing and I would have given 5 stars prior to this method are getting 3.5 and 4.
Now I feel like I need to go back through and re-rate everything because it’s all wrong. I have reviewed 11 books this way and only had a single 5 star when in the past I would have had at least 7.
