Books that leave you confused about what is going on, but well done

I’m thinking like Piranesi, Gideon The Ninth (Locked Tomb), White is for Witching etc.

If I’m confused about everything the first 100 pages I’m okay with it. If it gets more and more confusing as the books go on (à la locked tomb) yas!

I’m craving confusion and something that gets me questioning everything.
