Books about fraught mother/daughter relationships and/or intergenerational trauma

Specifically looking for fiction but open to non-fiction suggestions as well. The kinds of stories I know that feel close to what I’m looking for are Demon Copperhead and Lady Bird (the movie). would love some suggestions!
