Hey everyone
I am interested in History on an amateur point of view. The roman empire is an incredible and rich subject I’d like to explore. I read SPQR by Mary Beard a few years back but didn’t enjoy it really and honestly don’t remember much.
What are the other famous good books on the subject ? Ideally with a french translation available since it’s my mother language. So if it is in english it need to be easily understandable.
