The book I'm looking for is like the man from earth Where it turns out he really is immortal or kpax
Where it turns out he really is from the planet
Basically stories where the identity of the person is left ambiguous and you're unsure if what you're being told is true until the very end and ideally ones where Where it turns out he is telling the truth And preferably books where it's more about the person being quizzed
Ideally things which are mystical, magical, alien, etc. Not too interested in the person just being regular but if you have some suggestions, i wouldn't mind it.

My favorite book of all time is “The Lesser Dead” by Christopher Buehlman. The narrator is a young disaffected vampire in 1960’s NYC. Right in the opening paragraphs, he claims to be an unreliable narrator. You won’t find out whether that’s true, or in what way, until the very end of the story >!but when you do you’ll want to do a second read-through right away because it changes everything.!< And it all begs the question, if someone purports to be unreliable, can you believe that?
