Suggest me a light fantasy/sci-fi with similar vibes to Nimona

I'm looking to read a book that has soft sci-fi and/or fantasy elements. Think Nimona, where there's some futuristic tech and slight magic but it's still a normal society. I'd also want the book to be a bit brighter? If that makes sense. Like when I read a lot of fantasy or sci-fi, the settings feel very grim with descriptions of war, poverty, slavery, etc. I want to read a book that takes place in a world where the entire nation isn't in ruins. No evil dark princes or anything. Found family is a plus! I'm open to any reading level, from Middle Grade to Adult.
