I’ve been knocking out my “must read” lists but after the slog that was Piranesi, I’m just in a slump. It really took the wind out of my sails after reading another highly recommended book and absolutely hating it. So I’m looking for scifi/fantasy/mystery that is easily digestible. Hopefully involving a crime and mystery and shorter than 400 pages. Does that exist?
