I'm looking for books with a similar vibes to;
-Tales From Outer Suburbia/Tales From The Inner City by Shaun Tan
-The video game Kentucky Route Zero, specifically the 5th act
-St. Lucy's Home For Girls Raised By Wolves by Karren Russel
-Generally something that generates wanderlust and nostalgia by combining mild surreal elements with grounded human stories. If there's a travel memoir/creative nonfiction book that manages to be uncanny without supernatural elements, I'd be interested in that too.
