Could anyone suggest a history book of the whole world that is fun to read, easy to understand, and not dense?

I know it is important to learn history but at the same time, I find history very boring and difficult to learn as most books I have read so far are very dense and not fun to read at all.

I just want to read a history book that describes the important historical events of the world in short.
