Would you recommend to read “Just Kids” by Patti Smith to someone that is recovering their reading habits?

I got to read this book because I wanted to start my reading habits but I don’t know if this book is a book that I would recommend. It haves a lot of American pop culture reference and its like a book that can entertain to those that are familiarized with this kind of niche.
