I’m looking for a high fantasy novel (or series) in which the main character is a lesbian. I don’t necessarily need it to be centered around a lesbian romance as i’m much more interested in the fantasy aspect, but it would be lovely to have a protagonist who’s romance I can actually get excited about.
Booktok has been pushing some at me but I’m hesitant to take any recommendations because… well, because it’s booktok. Well-written prose is a must, no hate to Sarah J Maas or her fans but I would like something that doesn’t underestimate my literary acumen lol
