So I read mainly fantasy and classics, but I'm up for recommendations from any genre. I don't like books that are just depressing throughout. Also please assume if the author is in my favourites that I have already read or plan to read their other works. Some of my favourite books are: The Way of Kings, Harry Potter 3, Percy Jackson 4, The Book that Wouldn't Burn, The Ember Blade, Jade War, The Devil and the Darkwater and Chinese Cinderella. My favourite classics are Emma, Gone with the Wind, Evil Under the Sun (Agatha Christie's Poirot in general), and Rebecca. Any recommendations would be great!
