Recommend me a book like Liu Cixin’s The Three-Body Problem, but not in the way you might think

Everyone suggests other space sci-fi, but the setting wasn’t the main reason I liked the book

What I liked:

• The unpredictability of what would happen to the main characters
• The feeling that it incorporated real science
• The mystery surrounding the Trisolarans
• Fast-paced
