Hi everyone, can someone please suggest me some books that are similar to 'We are not from here', 'Amal unbound', and 'dear martin'. What I like about these books is that they deal with real life issues, but the story itself is fiction. In we are not from here they are escaping from Guatemala to the USA through the train la bestia which is an actual thing that people do have to go through, but the story about the 3 kids working together is fiction. I really like these kinds of books, dealing with country issues, racism, and more and they can even be historic like from nazi germany or world war 2, if someone could tell me the genre of these kinds of books and some suggestions for similar books that would be absolutely amazing, thank you so much!!
