Because I'm writing my own story set in the California Gold Rush period, I was curious to know if there are any stories in the horror genre set during this time?
I'm aware of general historical fiction set in this period, as well as Donner Party-based horror a la Alma Katsu's The Hunger, but I haven't yet been able to find specifically Gold Rush horror.
