I was thinking about like humanity in the cosmos and stuff and you always think about like woah what if there are ancient civilisations that just like died before they could leave their world, but what if we were that elder civilisation. That more infant species will one day find evidence of if/when they come to earth. Are there any books like this. Preferably in a fantasy style setting but sci-fi can work too. I know Dune technically is this and that warhammer also is similar to this but what about any others??
