Hi, so I’m looking for fairy tale or folk tale collections. Something like Grimm’s fairy tales. Anthologies, collections, anything works. If they are dark, bonus points. I already have Angela Carter’s The Bloody Chamber.
Check out Jack Zipes. He’s one of the most famous scholars on fairy tales and folktales and has edited several anthologies of fairy tales and folktales and also has written a lot of really fascinating books about the social/cultural/literary histories of fairy tales.
