As I have gotten older, the fact that I have not been with anyone romantically and/or sexually, has gotten increasingly stressful. All of my friends are in relationships and I just feel like I am missing out on such a fundamental part of being a young woman!! It is also causing me to develop some self-confidence issues as I feel like there is something wrong with me lol, like im too ugly or boring to be in a relationship : (
I haven't ever received any advances from men in a romantic/sexual capacity so I don't even know what I would do if it were to happen. I also have never been attracted to someone! Any books with a character that experiences something similar? Or life advice books that could help me navigate this? TIA!!!

Off topic… but perhaps therapy, practicing talking to another person and learning strategies for gaining confidence versus isolating and reading a book would be more helpful in your situation? Its time to engage in life friend
I think what you are looking for is books with people who are on the Aseuxual Spectrum. I don’t have any recommendations off hand, but googling that gave me a lot of hits, particularly in YA lit. Loveless by Alice Oseman comes up a lot.
I haven’t read it myself but I know the book “loveless” by Alice Oseman deals with a main character in University who struggles with the fact she isn’t attracted to anyone while those around her are in relationships.
If you’re interested in any YA/fantasy, you might like The Protector of the Small series, featuring Kel – a girl who wants to become a knight. The author, Tamora Pierce, stated the character is aromantic and asexual.
