I really love horror that feels like a very unsettling fever dream. I’m reading Mister Magic right now by Kiersten White and I’m loving it. A couple other examples would be Incidents Around the House by Josh Malerman and Wicked Temper by Randy Thornhorn. I HATE murder mystery/true crime. I really want there to be a paranormal element.
