Mind blowing & page turning series &/or Novella recommendations based on my reads please?

Current read:

Larry McMurty – Lonesome Dove (Loving it so far, fantastic character work & dialogue)

Favourite Reads:

Steven Erikson – Gardens on the Moon (Loved everything about it, have already bought Deadhouse Gates to read soon)

RPB – The Exorcist (Great atmosphere detail)

GRRM – Game of Thrones Series (Great Plot/fleshed out characters)

Disliked Reads:

Brandon Sanderson – The Way of Kings (Flat characters & a bit to YA for me)

Dan Brown – Da Vinci Code (Predictable & weak plot)

Neil Gaiman – American Gods (Poor overall other than original plot idea)

I understand the genres vary however it would be class to get some solid recommendations to get onto my TBR.
