This year I read The Grace Year by Kim Ligget, and I absolutely could not put it down. I read every moment I could, and even woke up early to finish reading. Can you suggest me a book like this?
Here are some keywords that might help, which I’m really interested in. They can be connected or not, I don’t mind:
Dystopia
Fiction
Supernatural
Unreliable narrator
Morally gray character
Dark Academia
Romance (not fully overtaking the book)
Magic system
Adventure
Historical
War fiction (WW2 etc)
Single book or duology (max trilogy)
Great character development, kind of like Rin from the poppy war trilogy
Wholesome / Cottagecore
These are all the plots I love to read, I’m sure I missed some though. Could you suggest me a book you simply couldn’t put down?

Blackout and All Clear by Connie Willis.
The first three books in the vampire Saga by Ann Rice. Interview with the vampire, the vampire Lotte is booked to, queen of the Damned, which is book 3.
There are other books in the series, but those first three I found riveting. The ones after that certainly had their moments, but I was not quite as riveted to them and at some point I sort of lost interest over the years as they came out.
LESTAT. Sorry that second book I think Camas’s latte and a sound of vampire coffee. I’m using voice to text because I am blind and I do not have a keyboard on this device so I hope that this edit that situation of it.
Gravity’s Rainbow – Thomas Pynchon
