I am looking at B&N cause i have a giftcard and looking for recommendations similar to r/hexhall
This book, A Great and Terrible Beauty, came up as a recommendation but i'd like some feedback before adding it to my cart.
For context if you haven't read Hex Hall, think Harry Potter meets Gossip Girl 🥰 Low spice level is preferred as i'm not really into super spicy books but i still want to feel a connection with the characters and their romance story if that makes sense, like i need the development without the explicitly.

I absolutely adore Libba Bray, and I tend to give leeway to debut books, but this one is a misfire. I think it probably reads better for teens, but it doesn’t age well at all.
