not into sci-fi or horror novels. i think i prefer older writing styles. looking for something maybe with a flawed protagonist. something more grounded and realistic. stuff that can aggravate a reader but you have sympathy. i do know of books that l've •LOVED• and maybe you could use them as a wench for ideas? (also preferably something not too long. maybe something under 600 pages or so). preferably older books as well. maybe stuff from the 50's-80's?
