Work killed my reading for a while but I’m getting back into it and looking for fantasy and sci-fi recommendations (details in post)

So for the last few years uni and then work killed my time and motivation to read but things have freed up now and I'm getting back into reading but have no idea what's good when it comes to newer series and I'd appreciate recommendations.

I'm mostly looking for

. Sci-fi: space opera, cyberpunk, and exploration stories.

. Fantasy: anything really, and if anyone knows any good gunpowder fantasy series I'm all ears

But open to other recommendations
