so i really love books where the reader slowly discovers the truths/history of the world/setting. this can be in the form of the mc having no memory (ie: project hail mary or maze runner) or just general mystery about the setting (ie: silo series or i who have never known men).
i am open to any genre but i don’t want anything too high fantasy or sci-fi just because i sometimes struggle keeping those stories straight. also i don’t want anything that is too depressing or tense.
