I feel like I should love dark academia. I want to love it. I love dark academia movies. But my picks so far – A Deadly Education, Ninth House, and The Maidens, have all been DNF. I know Donna Tart is super popular I just cannot do a super long book right now. Also even though I'm a big fan of fantasy I think maybe it doesn't work for me when mixed with dark academia so maybe no fantasy.
