I just finished reading “a little life”. If you know you know. And I’m not, not wanting to read. But I’m just not finding things interesting to read.
I need real tragedy in a book so I can feel something again after a little life. I mean like rip my heart out and rub it on the floor. Any suggestions?:)

I wish I could read that book all over for the first time.
The Indifferent Stars Above is about the Donner Party tragedy. A lot of really heavy hitting parts in there, and it’s not just the cannibalism I’m referring to. You really feel how cold, exhausted, desperate, and terrified all those people were.
