Hi guys, I've been into note-taking techniques and reading scientific books lately. The latter has shown me some of the signs or notations that writers use as shorthand for their words, hence getting their intentions across. So I want to adopt this kind of notational conventions. Does anyone know any books that center on this subject or, at least, have a good notational convention system in itself + thorough explanation of it. Thank you very much!!
Edit: Books suggested can be as academic and scientific as a linguistic one. It's all good.
