Tbh, I'm not quite sure what I'm looking for. But if you've read something similar, kindly drop your suggestions! I want to read a book involving magic and family secrets that have been protected through generations. Could be a dark secret (or not). It would be great if the the book also features the older generations and what they did to protect the secret. In short, I don't want the story to revolve around only a particular generation or member of the family.
