Suggest me a book set during the era of Japanese concentration camps like the Bataan Death March

My great grandpa died in WW2 in a camp at the end of the Bataan Death March. I’d be curious to know what his experience could have possibly been like. Are there any historical fictions/recountings of experiences during that time?
