Looking for a good horror/thriller survivor book

I’m looking for books similar to The Last Of Us. Where there’s a thriller/horror element to it while trying to survive the world the character(s) is in.
Working on my own so I would want some inspiration.

It doesn’t have to be something exactly like The Last Of Us, other heavy inspirations of other media would be things like Alien, A quiet place, etc.
