I refrain from recommending books that I haven’t finished yet because it’s bitten me in the butt before.
I finished The Book Thief a couple weeks ago and I can’t stop thinking about it. Incredible. I had it on my tbr for like 4 years. I read the first chapter more than once and didn’t pay attention or something because I didn’t get what was going on.
Turned out to be one of the best books I’ve ever read.
