Looking for recommendations for queer (ideally gay male MC) books set 1950-1960s.
Science and space are a plus.
Some examples: The Half Life of Valery K by Natasha Pulley Shoot the Moon by Isa Arsen Nuclear Sunrise by Jo Carthage (Big emphasis on nuclear science and space if you didn't catch that – that's what I'm mainly looking for.
Would love to find a NASA space flight book featuring a gay MC) The Martian is my all time favorite book if that tells you anything.
Also really love the Lavender House series and Cat Sebastian's Midcentiry NYC series set in the same period. But neither are science related.
Other books set before this I loved were The Boys in the Boat and the Will Darling Adventures.
