My 9 year old is never liked reading until Wings of Fire. He loves the books and won’t put them down. He is dyslexic so we are thrilled he has found a love of reading even though it is difficult. He is on the last book of the series and has come to me in tears multiple times because he is so sad that he will have nothing left to read and he doesn’t think rereading the series or reading the graphic novels will be the same.

Please suggest me a book or preferably a series that will keep him reading. I don’t know why he has connected with this series when others we have tried leave him bored.

Anything by Erin Hunter: The three main series of Warriors, Seekers, and Survivors each have a good 12+ books. Same kind of animal adventure genre.

Bonus: ‘Erin Hunter’ is a pseudonym for a group of authors who work together to write the different series. One of these authors is Tui T Sutherland (who wrote Wings of Fire), so you already know that he likes the writing style.
