My wife loved Diane Setterfield’s “Once upon a River,” as well as “The Thirteenth Tale.”
She also loved Dracula, as well as Frankenstein. Darker themes or characters are fine.
What would you recommend? I’m looking for a new-to-her author for a Christmas gift.
