I'm looking for a book where the MC is a horrible person with bad qualities. Not necessarily evil in a supervillain since or likes kick puppies or wtv but they're like selfish, push people away and stuff. Think like the MC from King of Staten Island, The Bear, or shameless. I preferably want to find something where they redeem themselves by the end. I'm looking to write a book like it, but I need some source material to see how to effectively execute it. Thanks
