As the title states, my mom is 64 and just started to get into reading this year. It’s been a very difficult year for her and reading seems to be her only solace as of late. As her son, I’d like to get her a series she can dive into for Christmas. I gave her The magic Strings of Frankie Presto and she likes it. She is a rural country woman, so her reading skills aren’t the highest and her vocabulary is somewhat limited. Any suggestions for an easy to read series for an older woman would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time!
