HI HI I just want to understand why much of the increase in productivity from better tools and technology has gone toward profits for companies rather than reduced work hours or increased wages for workers.
EDIT: I realize this might be a broad question, some have recommended reading Marx for context, thank you ! but I’m specifically looking for a book that explores this issue in the context of the modern economy and the current state of things.
