New to history!

I really need some recommendations for history books that will captivate me and will make me want more!!

What are some history books that have really moved you? or books that have completely changed your perspective.
I want to learn and to educate myself but i don’t want it to necessarily be a super difficult read.

I’ve never really liked history or ever cared about it, but I’ve gotten to the age where I just feel so uneducated and I want to know anything and everything i can about culture and geography and empires and more!
Please leave me some suggestions!
