You might like Peter Beagle’s *The Last Unicorn*, which has big Princess Bride vibes.
And maybe Margaret Atwood’s *The Penelopiad*?

Do you like the Greek mythology theme? I’ve also read A Thousand Ships, Stone Blind, and Ariadne and they are all pretty good too.

If you feel like staying in the Greek myth zone I’d suggest Clytemnestra by Constanza Casati and Ithaca by Claire North. I’d say neither are quite as perfect as Madeline Miller’s works but still very good.
