Hi, I'm trying to find books about gangsters and organized crime in the 1930s. (1920s are okay, too) preferably set in NYC, Chicago, Boston, or Detroit. LA would also be okay.
Ideally, I'm looking for books like Button Man by Andrew Gross or They Live by Night by Dennis Lehane (or Lehane's The Given Day) Novels about Dillinger, Bonnie and Clyde, and the like would also be okay, though big city stories are preferred.
