I just finished Misery by Stephen King. I was totally rapt by King's description of the main character's writing process — finding a hole in the paper and falling into it as a metaphor for being consumed by creative thought and the urge to release it upon the page. It felt like an intimate peek into how King may consider his own creative writing process.
Any other books about how it feels to be struck by creativity, or creative inspiration in general? Interested in both fiction and nonfiction; I am just curious about how people find and react to novel thought 🙂
